13th, 2014 - The RMLSA wrapped up its 27th season in fine fashion.
Returning to Sherman County Speedway in Goodland, KS. It was an

wonderful track. Much the way he has done all season 2014 RMLSA Champion
Troy Ullery put on a clinic. Sweeping the entire event and putting an
exclamation point on a dominating season. Winning
the rained out main event from June 14th, winning the heat race and the
final main event of the season. Congratulations to Troy and Missy on
their incredible season! The RMLSA is proud to have such a class act
representing us as our 2014 Champion.
There were several others that had
very good seasons including Steve Becker who picked up his first
victory and finished 2nd in points. Glenn Waterland also grabbed his
first victory and finished 4th in points. We would also like to wish
Glenn and Hayley all the best as they are expecting their first child.
Paul Babich had another steady year picking up one win and finishing on
the podium at the end of season. Scott Wilson grabbed a big win in Dodge
City with the World of Outlaws. Jesse Fernandez made huge improvements
showing he will be contending for wins in the future. Congratulations to
Jesse on his Rookie of the Year run. There were many others that had
really good seasons but weren't able to run the full schedule. 2012
Champion Brent Rees picked up a couple wins, Jeff Gieg picked up a win.
2013 Champion Troy Simpson had a nasty crash that limited his season but
showed he will be contending in the future. Johnny Boos due to health
issues had a short season and we look forward
To seeing him in 2015.
Bob Harr, Matt Martinez, Troy Pierce, Tim and Mike Snelling, Shane
Stanley, Mike Bennett, Rick Marchbank and Dale Johnston were all only
able to run limited schedules and we hope to see them more in 2015. A
few new faces we also hope to see more in 2015 are Chad Duprey, Dan Donelson and Phil Reid.

Jeff Gieg in the #18 was third, With a nice battle betwwen Chad Duprey and Paul Babich throwing slide jobs and bouncing off each other Chad picked up a solid 4th place from deep in the field in only his 2nd lightning sprint race and Babich rounded out the top 5.
