|Pribbenow in Winners Circle at PCR|
May 11th, 2013 - Auston Pribbenow made it 3 different winners in the 3 opening weeks of 2013. Auston held of a hard charging Troy Ullery on the last lap. 13 cars made the trip to Phillips County Raceway in Holyoke, CO. An excellent day of weather made for a very fast track. Strating from the outside front row Auston Pribbenow took the lead and after an early red for an incident that invlolved Scott Heikes and Jeff Gieg, Troy Ullery was hot on his tail. Coming in to the last turn of the last lap Troy Ullery made one last charge at the win and unfortunately spun and finished 9th. Following Auston to the checkered was Paul Babich, Troy Simpson, Glenn Waterland who picked up his first heat race win earlier and his first top 5 and Tim Snelling. Scott Heikes and Jeff Gieg were involved in a scary crash early in the main event. Scott Heikes was transported to the hospital where he was later released with a nasty egg on one of his eyes and bumps and bruises, we wish Scott a full and speedy recovery. Jeff Gieg was also involved but was uninjured, although Jeff tried to make repairs and continue it was not to be, we are also glad Jeff was uninjured. The complete results are as follows.
