Crowder makes it 5 for 5 PDF Print E-mail

June 15th, 2013 – Chris Crowder earned his first RMLSA Saturday at Butch Speicher’s I-76 Speedway. Starting from the outside 4th row Crowder used the outside to get to the front in short order. Even a couple cautions bunching up the field Crowder in his Rate Per Mile, Fabtech Chassis, Yamaha R1 powered Lightning Sprint had the field covered. Coming home in 2nd was #55 Sammy Gallo in his Stu Carlson, James Mote and Bona Fied Athletics, Yamaha powered R1 returning after almost a year away. Third was #69 Paul Babich in his QED, M2C1, Yamaha powered R1, 4th was #31 Steve Becker in his Bert’s Model A Ford sponsored, Yamaha R1 powered Lightning Sprint and 5th was Glenn Waterland in his #11 Lightning Sprint.


Thank you to all the fans for coming out to fan appreciation night at I-76 Speedway. Without the fans we couldn’t do what we love.


Heat Race 1 – Paul Babich, Auston Pribennow, TJ Worcester, Glenn Waterland, Sammy Gallo and Troy Ullery DNF.


Heat Race 2 – Troy Simpson, Chris Crowder, Jesse Fernandez, Steve Becker and Bob Harr.

The RMLSA takes a couple weeks off to enjoy some summer activities and will return to I-76 Speedway on July 6th. Come see if we can make it 6 for 6 and catch NASCAR Star and all around great racecar driver Kenny Schrader.
