Josh Flood wins At I76 on July 2nd

11 cars made the trip to I76 Speedway for the Al Wilson Memorial at I76 Speedway. Two heat races were run with #21 BJ sauer winning heat one and #7 Josh Flood winning heat two.

The feature race had #1 Troy Ullery leading the first 19 laps with #7 Josh Flood on his tail. On the white flag lap, a small mistake by Ullery saw Flood and #13 Josiah King get by leaving Flood with the win.

Double Header Weekend 6/24-6/25

This past weekend we took the road up north to I-76 Speedway for a double header weekend.

Friday night started off with ten drivers making the trip. Heat 1 was won by #81 Mike McMillen, and Heat 2 was won by #26 Chris Crowder. Heat races were ran green, white, checkered with all ten cars ready for the main feature.

Invert draw of zero, put #81 Mike McMillen on the pole with #26 Chris Crowder on the outside. Second row featured #21B BJ Sauer and #24B Johnny Boos. The green flag was thrown, as the drivers got into turn one, #21 BJ Sauer spun out and collected points leader #7 Josh Flood. BJ Sauer was unfortunately not able to continue, however #7 Josh Flood was able to return to the field. Drivers took to their original positions with #24B Johnny Boos moving to inside second row, and #1 Troy Ullery moving up to the outside. The green flag was thrown once again, and #26 Chris Crowder took off. Congratulations to #26 Chris Crowder and crew for their first win of the season. #24B Johnny Boos would finish second, and #81 Mike McMillen finished in third.

Saturday was set up for a great night of racing. Thankfully #21B BJ Sauer and crew were able to get beautiful Maggie May back up and ready to go for round two. #7 Josh Flood and crew were also able to fix his car from getting collected the previous night.

A total of 13 drivers made the trip which made for even better racing. #00 Bruce Swain, #11 Brock Purvis, and #13 Josiah King would all return ready to get a win. Heat 1 was won by #7 Josh Flood and Heat 2 was won by #24B Johnny Boos. Heat races were ran once again green, white, checkered making for a 20 lap main event.

Another invert draw of zero put #7 Josh Flood on the pole, and #24B Johnny Boos on the outside. Second row featured #81 Mike McMillen, and #86 Jenn Woods. A few laps in we had a spin with #00 Bruce Swain and #81 Mike McMillen however both cars were able to join the field and continue on. Another great battle between point leaders #24B Johnny Boos, and #7 Josh Flood. However, once the checkered was thrown #24B Johnny Boos and team would get the win. #7 Josh Flood would finish second, and #86 Jenn Woods would Finish third.

Saturday, June 18th

Yesterday we took the track for the first time of the season at Honor Speedway. They have done great work over there to the track and it made for one fast surface.

Ten cars made the trip with Bryan Van Deusen running his first race of the season. Two heat races were ran, with the first heat won by #33 Gale Ingram. This was his first heat race win. Second heat race was won by #32 Blair Cooper.

Ingram would pull an invert of two, putting Cooper on the pole and Ingram on the outside. Second row would feature #44 Ryan Rader and #23 Cullen Potoker.

On the first lap #44 Ryan Rader and #71 Frank Martinez would tangle up and both have to be towed off the track. The green flag was thrown again, and #32 Blair Cooper took off for his second win of the season. Track was great and made for a great race. On the final lap #7 Josh Flood was able to make the inside move on the last turn on #24B Johnny Boos to finish second. #31 Steve Becker was also able to make a final move in order to pass #23 Cullen Potocker to finish forth.
