Boos wins close one ay Phillips County

10 Lightning Sprints made the trip on Friday night up north to Phillips County Raceway. Hat races were won by #7 Josh Flood and #24B Johnny Boos. The feature was a good one with Boos taking the lead, but Josh Flood tracked him down , getting beside him, but could not quite get by leaving the #24B Hyper to win three in a row.

Boos wins again at El Paso County Raceway

Race #2 for the RMLSA Lightning sprints saw 16 cars show up to race on a cool spring evening at El Paso County Raceway.
Heat races were won by #24B Johnny Boos and #32 Blair Cooper.
Feature draw was heads up, so the winners of the heats were on the front row of a 20 lap green to checkered race that only took 5 minutes to complete. Boos took off and never looked back. #71 Frank Martinez and #32 Blair Cooper battled for the second position with Martinez winning that battle, #31 Steve Becker finished 4th with #86 Jenn Woods rounding out the top 5.
Next week these race teams head to Honor Speedway in Pueblo, CO for round #3 of the 2021 season

Boos wins 2021 Season Opener

18 cars made the trip to I-76 Speedway for the 2021 season opener for the RMLSA Lightning Sprints.
Heat races were won by #32 Blair Cooper, #21B BJ Sauer, and #24B Johnny Boos.
The feature lines up with those three winners starting up front. The #21B BJ Sauer Henchcraft took the lead for the first 6 laps until an oil leak ended his night. Johnny Boos in his #24B Hyper inherited the lead , but had to fend off the #32 Hyper chassis driven by Blair Cooper and a hard charging #39X Dakota Dillin coming forward from the back.
When the dust settled #24B Johnny Boos, #32 Blair Cooper, and #39 Dakota Dillin were the top three.
