Chris Crowder is the 2020 RMLSA Champion
The 2020 RMLSA points champion is #26 Chris Crowder . Driving is #26 Diablo chassis with Honda power, Chris won the first and last races of the 2020 season with several second place finishes in between. #39 x Dakota Dillin finished second in points followed by #24B Johnny Boos. 16 races . 34 drivers. Great Racing!!!

Crowder wins season finale at El Paso County
The 2020 season ended for the RMLSA Lightning Sprints at El Paso County Raceway on Saturday night. 19 cars made the trip on a warm fall evening and were greeted to a smooth slick track. The #26 Chris Crowder won the feature and the championship. #24B Johnny Boos took second, with the #31 Steve Becker rounding out the podium. With all the Covid closures , the RMLSA was able to run 16 race night at 4 different tracks with 7 different feature winners and 34 different drivers. It was a good season with great racing and great friendships.

Cooper, Boos win doubleheader features
The RMLSA had a great winged doubleheader weekend . Friday night, 13 Lightning Sprints took to the tacky 3/8 mile at Honor Speedway in Pueblo, Colorado for the annual Frank Potoker Memorial race. Pueblo’s own #32 Blair Cooper took the checkered from the seventh starting spot for his second win of the season. #9F Andy Flood finished second place with #26 Chris Crowder rounding out the top three.

Night number two of the doubleheader weekend saw 18 Lightning sprints tackle a rough slick El,Paso County Raceway in Calhan, Colorado. The feature was won by #24B Johnny Boos , #26 Chris Crowder finished second with #39x Dakota Dillin rounding out the podium.
