Jason Woods sweeps race night #1 for 2018

2018 is here and brought out 20 of the RMLSA’s best out to Butch Speichers famed I-76 Speedway in Fort Morgan Colorado. The track was smooth, heavy and hammered down. Jason Woods would start on the pole in the Feature and lost two spots early. Just before the halfway mark a Steve Estrada and Dalton Webb would tangle bringing out the first caution of the evening. Woods restarted in 3rd, and would get past Chris Crowder leaving race leader Johnny Boos to have to negotiate with. As Boos and Woods entered lapped traffic, Boos tangled with a lapped car and spun. Woods took over the lead with Crowder and Skyler Wissman pressuring for the lead. Wissman got by Crowder finishing second behind Woods. Jason Woods swept the night winning both his heat and the Feature in his GSXR powered Henchcraft. The other two heats were won by Johnny Boos and Chris Crowder. Next up- the fastest dirt in Colorado. The RMLSA support the URSS 305 Sprint cars in Holyoke, CO. On May 12th.
