Josh Flood wins his first Feature race!!
El Paso Raceway welcomes the RMLSA

Josh Flood drove his #7 R-1 powered Fab Tech chassis to his first win on a chilly night at El Paso County Raceway. Johnny Boos drove his #24B R-1 powered Fab Tech chassis to a tight 2nd place followed by the #1 Troy Ullery in his ZX12 powered DLH Chassis to complete the top three. Those top three were followed by #2 Blaine Schubarth, #17 Dave McCray, #31 Steve Becker,#9F Andy Flood, #61 Jesse Fernandez, #1CO Glenn Waterland, #25 Mike Rotramel, #10 Ken Brown, #56 Jason Wessling, #57 Andrew Daniels, #71 Frank Martinez, #3 Rick Marchbank, #8 Vicky Mills, #3J Joel Mellon, #15E Danny Estep, #13 Josiah King, #26 Chris Crowder, # 2Z Trevor Snow. Heat races were won by #26 Chris Crowder, #1CO Glenn Waterland, and #71Frank Martinez. RMLSA closes out the 2017 season next Saturday 10/14/17 at I-76 Speedway in Fort Morgan , CO for the final USAC Winged race of the year. Bring your friends and watch some great racing.

Woods wins his first Lightning Sprint Feature !!
7 winners so far in 2017
Jason Woods in the #50 GXSR Powered Henchcraft Chassis wins his first Lightning Sprint feature at El Paso County Speedway. The young dwarf car Champion found the winners circle in a 20 laps green to checkered race after taking the lead from heat race winner #23 Andrew Daniels on lap 4. A fast field of 21 cars took the green with all 21 cars finished a Lightning fast feature without any caution flags. #71 Frank Martinez finished a close 2nd, with points leader #2 Blaine Schubarth finishing 3rd. Rounding out the top 5 was the #71 of Dave McCray and the #23 Andrew Daniels with his season best finish in the 5th position. Heat races were won by multiple time RMLSA champion #1 Troy Ullery, #17 Dave McCray and #23 Andrew Daniels.

Schubarth wins at I-76 Speedway
Blaine Schubarth took the lead on lap 10 from the #7 Josh Flood and wins another at I-76 Speedway on a hot September night in Fort Morgan, CO. The father and son team of Andy and Josh Flood took the lead from the start and raced hard with the #2 of Schubarth hot on their heals. A lap #3 red flag for the upside down #71 Frank Martinez bunched up the field. When the checkered flag flew it was #2 Schubarth followed by a career highest 2nd place finish for #7 Josh Flood with the #24B Johnny Boos rounding out the top 3. Andy Flood finished 4th followed by #1 Troy Ullery and #31 Steve Becker.
