2016 Race night #3 winner - Blaine Schubarth
Blaine Schubarth in the number 2 NAPA Hyper took his second victory in a row a El Paso County Speedway. Early in the day a thunder storm passed over the track which led to heavy but fast conditions.
Second place on the podium was taken by Dave McCray, who was debuting a new car tonight. With a heat race win and second place finish it looks like this might be one fast car!
Glenn Waterland led the early laps but found the conditions not to his liking and eventually slipped back to finish in the third position.

2016 Race night #2 Winner - Blaine Shubarth
20 cars made the trip to the chilly El Paso County Raceway last night for some non winged Lightning sprint action.
3 heat races were run, won by the #61 of Jesse Fernandez, the #2 of Blaine Shubarth, and the # 29 of Skyler Wissman.
The Feature race was won by the #2 Hyper chassis driven by Blaine Shubarth. Second place to Glenn Waterland in the GSXR powered 11C. The podium was filled by the third place R1 powered Fab Tec chassis #24B of Johnny Boos. Congrats to the top 3 in a good race.

2016 Race Night #1 Won by #7 Scott Wilson
Race night #1 of the 2016 Season started off at I-76 Speedway with 15 cars signed in for the non Winged race. 4 new drivers got to race with the RMLSA, and the racing was great!!! Heat # 1 saw the leader spin entering turn one, collecting the 24B car of johnny Boos. The #2 car of Blaine Shubarth hit the 24B and went for a wild ride, ending his night in the Ambulance with a concussion and sore ribs. Neither were able to continue. As racing resumed the #71 of frank Martinez took the win followed by #60 Gary Helken and the #0 of BJ Sauer in his first night racing in 16 years. Not finishing were the #2 of Blaine Shubarth, The 24B of Johnny Boos, #57 of Andrew Daniels, The 2Z of John Frasier, and the 21 of Michael Bennett. Heat #2 was won by the #7 Of Scott Wilson followed by the #5 Brandon Steele, the #11c of Glenn Waterland, #31 Steve Becker, #3j of Joel Mellon, #61 Jesse Fernandez,and the #39X of Dakota Dillon.
The Feature race was won by Scott Wilson in the Fab Tech #7, followed closely by the 11C of Waterland and the #31 of Becker. The #61 of Jesse Fernandez and the #60 of Gary Helken rounded out the top 5.
Special congratulations goes to the 57 of Andrew Daniels who won the $100 rookie award, and thanks to the anonymous donor who put up that prize.
